TVF Scholarship

The children in our care demonstrate a tremendous amount of resolve, resilience and courage when undergoing treatment. We are both awed and inspired by their strength and are proud to support them in pursuit of their dreams during and after treatment.

Since forming the Valerie Fund Scholarship Program in 2006, we have given financial support to hundreds of Valerie Fund children treated at one of our eight centers. Post-secondary scholarships (programs attended after high school or the receipt of a GED) are available for vocational and technical schools, as well as community college, four-year colleges and universities, and graduate programs. 

We are grateful to our generous donors for making this scholarship program possible and allowing our children to continue their journey.

Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee of the Valerie Fund Board based on merit, need, or both. 

For the first time in 2025, the Millie & Gil Finkel Scholarship will be awarded to a Valerie Fund patient who has attended Camp Happy Times as a camper, LIT, or counselor. The ideal candidate will be applying to community college or vocational school.
